About the Architecture project 

This was the first year one project, it involved looking at Julian Opie’s work and producing illustrations of various buildings using Illustrator. For the reference pictures we had to go and take pictures in Media City, Salford. In the photography I wanted to capture the buildings as imperious structures, comparing the domineering status of these buildings to the stature of people. The first two images explores Julian Opie’s work, I laid out all the components using Photoshop. The illustrations are quite colourful as I wanted to show a clear influence of Julian Opie.
